Key takeaways
  • L2 autonomous remediation moves out of preview with multi-step, checkpointed workflows.
  • Razorpay joins Stripe, so Indian customers can pay in INR with UPI, netbanking, and cards.
  • The GoalSet policy editor gains diff review, two-person approval, and dry-run simulation.
  • The Client Master portal is rebuilt around licences, entitlements, and downloads.

AAQUILIX 2.1 is now generally available. This release focuses on three things customers asked for repeatedly: deeper automation, easier payment in India, and a portal that does not require a support ticket to answer "what am I licensed for?"

L2 autonomous remediation

L1 automation handles single-step actions. L2 covers multi-step remediations where each step must be verified before the next begins — the work that previously required an engineer to follow a runbook end to end.

  • Checkpointed workflows — every step captures state and declares its own rollback before the next step is eligible.
  • Partial rollback — if step four fails, steps one through three unwind in reverse order rather than leaving the system half-changed.
  • Verification gates between steps, evaluated against live state rather than the state at workflow start.
  • Workflow-level blast radius, so a multi-step remediation cannot exceed its declared scope across all its steps combined.

L2 workflows ship in observe mode by default, including for existing customers upgrading from 2.0. Nothing becomes autonomous without an explicit promotion.

Dual payment gateway

Stripe remains for international customers. Razorpay is now live for Indian customers, which means INR billing with UPI, netbanking, cards, and NACH mandates for recurring subscriptions — plus GST-compliant invoicing generated automatically.

Existing subscriptions are unaffected. Customers who want to migrate from USD/Stripe to INR/Razorpay can do so at their next renewal without a service interruption.

GoalSet policy editor

The policy editor was the most-requested area of improvement, and 2.1 addresses the workflow around policy change rather than just the editing surface:

  1. Diff review — every policy change is presented as a structured diff against the signed version, not as a whole-file replacement.
  2. Two-person approval — policy classes can require a second named approver, enforced at signature time.
  3. Dry-run simulation — replay a candidate policy against the last 30 days of recorded incidents and see exactly what it would have matched and done.
  4. Change history with attribution, so every policy shows who changed what, when, and who approved it.

The dry-run simulator is the feature we expect to change behaviour most. Writing a policy and immediately seeing "this would have matched 214 incidents and taken these actions" turns policy authorship from a guess into an evidence-backed decision.

Rebuilt Client Master portal

The portal has been rebuilt around the three questions customers actually open it for: what is my licence, what am I entitled to, and where do I get the installer.

  • Licence view with key, tier, managed-unit allocation, and renewal date.
  • Entitlement breakdown showing exactly which capabilities the current tier unlocks.
  • Download centre with version history, checksums, and release notes per build.
  • Invoice history with downloadable GST invoices for Indian customers.

What is next

2.2 is focused on multi-estate policy federation for customers running several independent AAQUILIX deployments, and on expanding the signature library for Kubernetes and container-native estates. Timelines are on the roadmap page for customers with portal access.
